This installation follows the mindfulness practice of Shannon’s fondness for textiles, adopting a repetitive act throughout her piece that is easily known to be mundane. 

 

Her work incorporates a homographic word using yarn that was dyed using tea. This work challenges the eye of the viewers to take time to observe thoroughly- further or closer. Untitled 2021 aims to shed new light on the repetitive regularities happening in the routine of life.
